face first in a puddle of water
drowns out the sound of her laughter

her eyes sparkle and light up the hall
i look in them and drown in their beauty
they remind me of the spring
vibrant and full of life
promising good things to come
and that there's a reason for living

the eyes around me
try to look in
to the sould i'm made of
the spirit within
they look and stare
and probe too deeply
i hate the way the look
it's more than a little creepy
they pierce through flesh and bone
seeking the true structure i'm made of
they are eyes of a God but not the one above...

she walks into the room
and the air crackles with happiness
she lights up the room
and makes even the saddest smile
she draws on the board
with her delicate sweet hands
she looks into my eyes
and i drown in hers

what to do what to do

sigh....the questions flitter through my mind like butterflies. the flight is erratic and unsure...

the need for an endless sleep....
