This is what's wrong with our government.  There are already enough people in this country that refuse to think....do we have to elect them to Congress, too? 

Why is it that some parents find it so hard to get their children to behave in public places?  I just came back from dinner, and spent at least half of it watching the woman at the next table as she tried (and failed) to control her daughter.   Not a toddler, mind you, this girl was probably about 8 or 9 years old.

Just came back from the doc, who took the last 2 pins out of my hand!  Yay!  I can finally wash my own hair again!  Plus, I no longer feel like something out of a low budget horror movie! *grin*  Hand is sore, but not too bad.  And phys therapy is helping.....A LOT.

Think I'll celebrate with some chocolate ice cream.....

Yes, I know you all thought I had fallen off the face of the planet, but...surprise!  I'm back again!  The past year has been rather hard for me, emotionally, but I am finally beginning to get things together again.  Hopefully I will post more often here - at least once a month, if I can manage to.

A cold front coming down from the far north is chiiling the Deep South.  This is not a product of global warming.........it's the result of all those Jim Crow-ers who for centuries said that a black man would be president only "when hell freezes over".
