Nano revelation
(No, I'm not doing Nanowrimo; that would be insane.)
My revelation is this: if loads of people can churn out 50,000 words of possible-dross in one month, while working five days a week, I should have no trouble churning out 10,000 words of intelligent and well-written dissertation in twelve weeks, while working four days a week. Right? -
Procrastinating, or lack thereof

I have two semesters left of the course it feels like I've been doing forever. All these years I've been unofficially collecting module credits without being formally registered on a programme, but I've finally sorted that out, although said programme is a bit different from the one I was aiming at when I started. Kids these days
(In backlash against being five yesterday, today I shall be seventy-five ;-)
Parts of my journey to work are shared by dozens of teenagers walking to school, and I have observed that all of them wear their backpacks properly, on both shoulders. What is the world coming to? In my day, no one used both shoulder straps, and backache be damned!

Holidays and being five
We had a lovely week in Cornwall - we cycled places, ate seafood, pasties* and ice cream, swam in the sea estuary (that one was just me, although smiorgan did paddle), went to the Eden Project (twice) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (in the rain).
