I'm really enjoying the story so far, but there's one minor discontinuity that I noticed. Lieutenant Giotto is actually the one nicknamed Cupcake. Doesn't really matter in regard to the story, but- I'm just letting you know :). Ok, back to reading. &hearts

Really? At this point I don't know if I looked anything or just made up a name. I wrote this chunk ages ago. I'll look into changing that. Thanks for the heads up.

actually I believe that in the movie credits 'cupcake' is simply billed as 'burly cadet' he is never given a last name, however Giotto has become the accepted last name in fannon because that was the last name of the chief of security on the original show.

Interesting. That's quite a reasonable decision though. Thanks for explaining.

Oh, man. Wings and Pon Farr? How much more can the poor guy take? I really like this story. But I am feeling all sorts of sorry for Spock. lol.

But he's so much fun to torture.

Actually, this wasn't originally a pon farr story, but it just fit so well. I couldn't resist.

Damn! Congratulations.

And yes torture the Spock. You have to reach out and just take those opportunities where you find them - Spocks don't just come along every day. (I actually typed 'don't grow on trees' but almost stopped myself - oh well).
