Ah, NYC, an enigma. A hodgepodge of cultural, linguistic and ethnic backgrounds. A city full of gargantuan sky scrapers and homey little brownstones. Marble terraces and warm, worn hardwoods. One of the things I like about New York is its insane contrasts. I've entered some of the biggest stores; Toys R Us, Virgin Records, and the smallest, barely standing places; a little room where Chinese folks sold knockoffs of name brand bags. It was truly amazing.

And they know they can get you for the experience of being able to say "I bought something in the M&M store!" I hate that they have to overcharge like that, though.

Very interesting to read, as always. You should be a travel writer, what with all the experiences you've had.

Man, purple M&M's? Srsly? It's hard not to think that's cool, but then, yeah, what would one do - stare at them moonily, eating one every 30 minutes? Whatevs.
