I finished my dissertation last night. I'd spent days and days in the library, and finally it was done. My supervisor said it was pretty good. I just needed another 1.5 hours to read over it and polish it up, I thought

Aiyohh poor Stel! That's even worse than my dream, midway through my holidays, that I was still busy researching the first of my four major essays. You'll be fine, babe. Heck, you'll do great! :D

A deadline that is immune to my sweet talking, pleading or rationalising is pretty much as hard a taskmaster as I can employ I suppose... :P

Pam's aiming to finish by the end of the week - you can see her word count on her blog. She's a couple of thousand words ahead of me at the moment, that fantabulously motivated girl! :)

I was up at 6.30am to finish that book, and just spent 4 hours at Borders writing (I embarrassed Black Guy today because he recognised me again and said "Iced cafe mocha?" me: "Not today." :P Needed something stronger today since I was up so early!) Word count still sucks but I tidied it up substantially, so that is extremely excellent. My back hurts like mad now though, which is why I'm back! Too much caffeine today I think. *bzzzzz*

I'm skipping Mexican with the coursemates btw - will be back for dinner and writing some more tonight.

I see you've hit your quota today! You go girl!! :D
