I often reread books, particularly feel-good escapism books. Hmm. I’ve read the Belgariad series at least 5 times over the past 10 years I’m sure.

Going trekking in Chiangdao til Sunday. Little to no internet access = NO WORK AT ALL.

Tuesday the world might be different, but we'll deal with that when we get to Tuesday. For now, it's a few days with one of my favourite people in the world, something new I've never done before, and a chance to remember what's important. :D -
National Day Morning
Brewerkz field. Housemates and friends. Frisbee disc, cool morning, dry grass, bursts of speed and leaping catches.
We aren't very good, but it was good clean fun, and best of all, it was like a summer Saturday morning in London again. -
Good Day
Proof read a paper, napped, coffee with Pam, two new tops, dinner with the girlgang at Le Bistrot where we consumed much cheese, beef, red wine and chocolate (which all make my short list of Foods I Cannot Live Without).
I love days when there is nothing you have to do but all that you happen to do, you want and love to do. :) -
A guide to birthday presents for Stella
My birthday is coming up. Although I am relatively unenthusiastic about it this year due to the extremely devastating three-tries-STILL-out rollercoaster attempt to throw a big birthday party this year, it's still a birthday.
