In a hurry, but had to comment. Firstly, I hope to be getting to the new fics you posted in Norse Mythology soon (hopefully tomorrow or today?).
As for fics, I can't wait for the Apocalypse AU, because you made it sound so good. The steampunk sounds interesting - I don't usually get into it, but technomany with Thor and Loki has great potential. I will worship you if you do an Avengers/Kushiel AU, absolutely worship you (even more if it's got the characters from the first two trilogies, especially Melisande). Moderniizing it also sounds really interesting - do you mean you'll have the old characters in a modern setting with the Avengers, or that the Avengers will be living in a world with Terre d'Ange 1000 years after the original series, like The Shattered Marque? Daemons sounds interesting - I'm not sure what you'll do, obviously, but I think the avengers would be a lot more interesting that way. Think of the dynamics, of Natasha actually talking with her Daemon (I mean, it's her soul, what did the Red Room do to it, do they talk

Do you have any particular animal knowledge? Like you've kept chinchillas or you ride horses or you always watch documentaries about sharks? (Or you're an expert on dragon lore, or you're really good at inventing/designing fantasy creatures?) Because those wonderful crack fics where someone is turned into an animal by a wizard/witch/transporter malfunction (eg there's a brilliant J2 fic where Jared is doomed to be a moose until he finds someone to love him), or is a magical shapeshifter who usually hangs about in animal form, would count for 'animal transformation'. (I tend to think that using Animagnus fics in HP for this trope would cheating a little, because they are human primarily, whereas a trickster-god that usually goes around pretending to be a coyote isn't?) These things can work REALLY REALLY WELL when the author really knows about the animals in question. i am totally down with Avengers/Kushiel crossover. hawt. :) i feel like Kushielverse would lend itself both to daemons and animal transformation...actually has animal transformation if you count the Bear Witches in Alba. and can't you just picture Mavros Shahrizai with some slinky furry creature beside him? a mink draped across his shoulder or a black cat brushing up against his legs? anyone? or just me? ;)
