It's been becoming apparent to me lately that my mind has already started to wither.  To me, it seems like I'm getting remarks as well as subtle hints at my lack of mental capacity lately

Depression can really affect the mind. It has made me feel stupid many times.

Or, if you're on meds (but I don't think you are anymore?), then it could be that and that'd be something to address with the doc.

Nah. I've been off meds for a while now.

I've made another post (Friends Only) that puts a little more thought to this matter.
