wow - so haven't written on here in ages.
Freshman year at college is almost done - I should be 4 pointing if all goes well. Two more exams (orgo and spanish) and then I am done. I still have a good 8 hours of work in the genetics lab left and the bio lab paper is due tomorrow but other than that it's pool here I come.

Well, I am just sittin here munching on some celery stalks. I'm trying to counteract the effects of two cookies covered in frosting and sprinkles that I had with the little ones at Rapid Readers; we were decorating cookies for valentine's day ( Read more... )

It is sunday night at 10 o'clock and I have succeeded in pissing away 3 or so hours of free time when I should have been doing the 30 problems due for chem which were back-logged from 2 weeks ago and also 3 government essays, each taking at least an hour. it was a wonderful way to cap off a day which started with utter melancholy. SAT II's are never fun; I have officially determined this as such. Findlay!!!!!

Yea, that's right, we won, and with flying colors. :)

Now the only question is when do we get our national questions? All I know is that will be a horrible horrible day. *shudder*

And I guess I look like a 50 year old in a dress suit. Oh well.

Poker night was fun although I don't believe we ever played poker. We ended up eating warm from the oven chocolate chip cookies with ice cold milk, putting together puzzles, reading tabloids, and watching School of Rock. It was an interesting evening and very fun to say the least.

That's right, no school today...again. It's still a bit icy but the main factor is that our high school is being used as an emergency shelter for the surrounding county. I feel bad for everyone that has had their house damaged in the past week due to falling limbs and trees, ice, and flooding. Many don't have power and it is below freezing ( Read more... )

No school today. Great day. And about 22 minutes, 27 seconds ago I found out school is cancelled for tomorrow also. Such a wonderful free feeling. Well, off to talking, then the 30 pages of government I have left, and vocab, and latin.
