When I was in high school, I went to Rita's Water Ice A.K.A (Hawaian Ice, snowballs, snowcones, or Italian Ice), for a blueberry water ice, as I too was a lover (not a fighter) of blueberries. My delicious treat had not so tasty fruitiness. The blueberries were sour and fermenty, I tossed them out the window when one would reach my spoon. I cried out, "these damn blueberries are pissing me off!!!!!!!" This is where the name, "The Darn Blueberries" was born. That was the name of my radio show. We obviously couldn't say damn on the radio, so darn it was. Our show was loved and celebrated, we had fans and stalkers. I'll tell you about it sometime. Ah yes, you and I, bonded by yet another thing we have in common, a love-hate relationship with blueberries. Also I'm sorry I have not gotten back to you as far as phone calls. I have had a crazy insane go nuts week at work, and my free time has gone to sleeping. After being on the phone all day I didn't want to get on the phone again.
