im switching to xanga indefinitely, so all of you who check this will now have to inconveniently change your bookmarks/favorites to the xanga one. but ill still post and reply to all those LJs.

just got back today from the ski trip. it was soooo much fun, definitely the highlight of my exchange so far. i went there knowing nobody and came out with so many friends. i got to be pretty close with 3 australians, but since they are in the southern hemisphere they are all leaving at the beginning of january to go back to australia... that ( Read more... )

last night was another great concert, the kings of leon. they played to a sold out crowd and we managed our way up to the front to enjoy the whole thing. the opening band, the features, was also pretty good, entertaining in any case ( Read more... )

i got the Reagent's Distinguished Scholarhip from OSU, making it even more likely that i will be going there next year. plus i hear that ou is pretty stingy with scholarships, and i havent heard anything from them at all. actually im surprised i already know so much from osu. it seems to be pretty to already have gotten a scholarship offer ( Read more... )

I feel really odd today. We had no school today due to the parent/teacher conferences, so last night we were all going to go to the movies in Cologne, but one thing led to another, trains were missed, met people unexpectedly in the airport, and got lost roaming around so we just sat outside the movie theater and talked for a few hours.
