This is a great universe and I have read all your Allegiance fics and loved every one. I'm usually a lurker but the lack of comments on this seemed so unfair I couldn't resist. As a follow up to the main series it is beautifully crafted - answering so many of our 'what next questions ' from that with subtlety and yet also managing to build on the story and Ray's character. As a reader it leaves me wanting more and yet strangely satisfied with the complexity of ideas and emotions you have given us. To me this is the best kind of writing - thanks :D I will keep an eye out for me from this universe.

Wow, thank you so much! That was a lovely comment to get on this old fic which, yes, never seems to have been noticed by many people. I'm so glad that it worked for you. I was trying to show a little more about what happened to Ray afterwards, how therapy was working out for him, and how things would remain difficult at work for a long while. So, yay! :)
