Matthew is out of surgery
Matthew's surgery went fine, and he was awake for a little while. He complained, of course, but I think he is handling things really well. His tonsils were scarred in, so the doc says it was good she took them now. He went back to sleep and when he wakes up, we'll get to go home. New foster Cairn
I got up early this morning, gassed up the car, put air in my tires, and set off for East Texas to meet the last leg of the transport for our new foster. His name is now Ajax and he is just as cute as can be!!!! He is an owner surrender, rather than a puppy mill dog, so he doesn't have the social or grooming issues they do. I DID IT!!!! :) Tonight, I achieved my red belt in Tae Kwon Do. I broke three one-inch boards (and got in trouble for it. Ooops), sparred three black belts separately and then fought all three of them as a group. I flubbed my fifth form by forgetting the second half, but otherwise did pretty good ( Read more... ) -

Beware the good twin / evil twin trap
I just caught myself doing something that I generally chide others for - putting my boys into a 'good twin or evil twin' role.
