Need LESS sleep
Yes, you read that right! The fatigue has been unnaturally bad today. I went to sleep last night around midnight - not that bad for a Friday night. The kids woke me up today at around 10 for some reason I can't recall. They woke me back up at 11:45 because there was a "PARADE! MOM, THERE IS A PARADE OUTSIDE!!!!". Latest project
I saw a picture of a clock in the book that inspired me to make this one. I've been trying to figure out how in the WORLD I was going to pull off building a frame for the clock when I found the perfect one in a local resale shop. Our foster dog has found his forever home!
Arithmetic has been adopted!!!!! YAY!! He's come so far, and his new mom is coming up from San Antonio to pick him up on November 7.

There is a contest going on now for knitters and crocheters pitting Auburn against Alabama. The '2008 Yarn Bowl' benefits neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) babies by providing warm hats to preserve body heat. A vacation from our vacation
I'm so glad the kids are out of school tomorrow. I need a good night's rest. A vacation from our vacation. *laugh* No, actually the camping this weekend was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for better weather, especially to sleep at night in the tents. We met some wonderful people in the campsite next to us and may meet them for camping again. ( Read more... ) -

Emptiness
It's strange how empty I feel inside without a 'day job'. I've been putting a lot into the Southern Living At HOME job, but I still get this feeling like I'm shirking work.
