BookBinding: Joy!
I was seriously beginning to worry but thanks to a YouTube video by BaronessNZ (she is my hero!) I actually finished making a book. I know! ::throws up hands::

BookBinding!Fail!!!
I was at the point where I was putting the cloth on the spine only to find out that cloth does not work very well at all for a rounded spine with cords. I ended up with a lumpy mess. I'm going to find/buy a suitable piece of leather but in the meantime I'm going to put this particular project away and live to fight another day. I strongly ( Read more... ) -
BookBinding: Getting Started
A couple years ago I went to a workshop for bookbinding that turned out to be a bust for a beginner like me. I put what few supplies I had away but over time I started collecting how-to books, YouTube videos and a DVD along with paper, waxed thread, stamps and ink to make an assortment of books. ::ahem:: I have yet to make one.

Hey! ::waves:: I took my last final for this semester last Thursday and I'm taking the next two weeks off from work which adds up to a vacation from both work and school. \o/

I did not like It's a Terrible Life (4x17). At all. In fact, I hated it.

I love a great comeback story so I love to see Mickey Rourke live out his own. I can't say that I ever had a crush on him but I did love to watch him in the offbeat films he often chose.
