The best thing that happened last week: the room got finished! And it's absolutely gorgeous. I almost hate to think of having to change it in two years when she moves to a big bed. Why do you suppose, when I need my sleep the most, I wake up every day between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. to go to the bathroom and then can't go back to sleep? I've been up since 4:45 and finally just gave up on sleeping again an hour later. It's driving me crazy. I'm going to be so exhausted by the time this kid even gets here ( Read more... )

I'm not sure how I've hit the 32 week mark. I thought I'd been paying attention, but somehow the past 10 weeks just slipped right by. I'm staring six months in the face, the third trimester not too far off. 24 weeks. How on earth did this happen? I go in tomorrow for the glucose test, and after that I'll start going every other week pretty soon. Second child syndrome has officially set in. By 20 weeks with my first pregnancy I had at least a dozen journal entries about pregnancy, thoughts and hopes, etc. This is my third entry with this pregnancy.
