Very very doubtful that would ever occur. He is already being classified as mentally disturbed with major mental issues. And while it is very difficult to plead insanity for any murder case, he might actually get off with that plea, since he has been off his meds for the last 2 months. So what's this mean? It means that he will be locked up, receiving mental treatment, pretty much permanantly, opposed to possibly getting the chair or any other death sentence. Hard to really tell what's worse.

Sounds like the guy is just plain psycho, and whatever reason he gives won't excuse what he did. I'm glad you weren't there when it happened, but it's sad that something terrible had to happen to people who had a lot to live for.
