I Don't Care That You Don't Care

How many times have you heard the phrase "life isn't fair"? Is life fair? When someone is sad, about something, don't we comfort them by saying "there is someone for everyone" or "your time will come" or something implying that even though they are experiencing bad times, good times will surely follow as a result? dude...you have too much time on your hands...that was really really long! Quag and Quat...hahaha Quat and splat seem to sound very much alike...is that where you got the name??? but...good points...maybe it's unfair because we don't know if it's fair or not.

or maybe "fair" means that you get what you deserve, as opposed to an equal balance of good and bad for everyone. do good, have good things happen. of course, life isn't fair, so this difference doesn't really matter.

but here's what irritates me: when people use the phrase "life isn't fair" to justify THEIR purposely unfair actions. sure, life's not fair, but we should do our part to make it as fair as possible - and by that I mean people getting the rewards they deserve. I don't think we need to help out with punishing people, but if someone works hard, they deserve credit. did that make any sense at all?

valid point, I guess what I described would me more of an equality of life
