Potato Time
Planning on going out today to plant potatoes. My onions are already in, and with the cold weather we have had, we had to keep them covered for about a week. I don't recall ever needing to cover my onions before, but then again, I don't remember having so many nights in the low 20's and upper teens as we've had this year. After almost one year

The past several days have seen us practicing music outside in the cold. At least the tent keeps the wind out. And turning the propane heaters on keeps the inside temps about 10 degrees or more warmer than the outdoor air. ( Read more... ) -

Labor Day!
Our whole family went down to Homestead Heritage's Labor Day open house festival yesterday.
