Eh - I was so lucky to have had Dad for so long, and so very lucky he was the man he was. Although I'm still going to argue his fanfiction was not in character - death doesn't absolve everything!

I was thinking so much of you as I wrote this - I've thought of you often, these past few months. I don't think - eh, there isn't an easy route through this one, but I'm walking where so many people I know have walked before, and awful as it is to say it (I would not wish this on anyone, although archaeologically speaking I am in favour of a reasonably regular dispersal of human remains) I find so much reassurance in knowing I'm not alone.
