So we didn't end up going to Red Lobster tonight - my bf had a bad migraine so we decided to eat at home. I had a half of a piece of chicken and some green beans. And then I purged.

You should join the dbtselfhelp community. It teaches things like mindfulness. It will most likely help you find healthier coping strategies. It's a pretty new community but I know the girl who created it and she will definitely be adding more skills. I think if you had a healthy way of coping that you may not need to turn to unhealthy things like cutting or purging.

Yeah I was actually in a DBT group therapy and had a therapist who specialized in DBT and self-harm. It was very helpful. Thank you for telling me about the group! Do I just search for it under communities?

Thanks! I did join it. There's also a web site called www.dbtselfhelp.com ; it has a lot of cool stuff to help those with BPD.
