You may have noticed that the *only* posts of mine that are public are gig announcements. For many of the same reasons you have. You don't owe anybody an explanation why you do whatever with your LJ. :)

No, we have not met before, however I am a fan of your costumes, and we share mutual online friend(s), in this small costume community. If you want to know more about who I am, there is a samll blurb in my "user info". And, you can check my friends list.

I don't know you but am also a costumer and admirer of your work, and would love to be considered because I love meeting new costuming folks. Saw you at Costume College last year - how can one not miss that excellant sushi costume? ;) - but was too shy to introduce myself. Feel free to check out my blog and web site (www.historicallydressed.com) and perhaps you think we may have enough in common to chat more?

You have a lovely site, & I was sucked into your recent trials w/the PP polonaise ruffles! We also have a lot of friends in common, so I added you. Welcome to the madness, which may eventually have some costuming stuff soon...
