I played my student recital today, and I even got to play in 100 year old Elizabeth Hall, where Freshman don't usually get to play. I thought things went quite well. Today we studied The Beatles, Dream Theater, and Elliot Carter for examples of metric modulation. And I have been informed that I have no free time. All in all, I'm a tired yet happy performance major, and I'm going to stay that way. And I'm not even going to think about finals.

What could be better than listening to records, singing opera, and getting lost in a library?
