I, too, have been dying for new fic. And this was just awesome. It was sweet and well-paced and for some reason, Castle giving relationship advice is laughable, yet awesome at the same time.

Would it be possible to get a sequel where Ryan and Espo are together and happy and Castle is trying to figure out why the hell they're so damn happy, because he CERTAINLY IS NOT, and he ends up getting super jealous of Espo's courage to speak? Or something like that?

Oh thank god. >_< I'm always terrified of having horrific pacing. My brain gets ideas and then I just want to GET there, and sometimes I end up mutilating the pacing because of it. :D So I'm glad that worked.

Castle has always seemed to me to be the type of guy that doesn't practice what he preaches--but his preaching is still somehow wise. It's probably Alexis rubbing off on him XD

You know--I'd love to write that. Give me a few days, I'll see if I can crank something out before I leave on hols. <3

This was perfect. It came across very in character and I could easily see it take place in an episode.

Thanks! Being in character is one of my major worries, especially when writing a non-fantasy fic. I don't dabble in things unrelated to sci-fi very often, and real-world characters aren't as...distinct, sometimes, as fantastical ones. (It is also very, very hard to avoid overusing "bro" and "man" with these two. I still think they cropped up too often XD).
