Live Journal, 18 years later....
For awhile, this was all the rage, Abby's Cult, as we called our Tuesday night dinner and games, group, were pretty much all posting in here. So trying to be a good dad, Donna and I started our own journals on here. All was good for awhile, but Facebook and other social media sites kind of took over and this faded away.

It's been awhile. Just posting so when I am long gone and the grand kids doing the family tree find this, they will have found something... ;-)
Our first calf or 2022 was born Tuesday (3 days ago). A cute little white faced heifer out of Kelsey. Healthy and long legged. Think we are gonna call her Pixie, but not sure yet.

2021 June update
A beautiful day here on the farm, but the power was out for about four hours. Daryl and Amber are here for the week in their glamper and David Mundhenk and family were here last night. Had a great visit and got autograph and pictures with Cassie Mundhenk of HBO fame.. ;-)

Summer 2020 in the Outer Banks!
10th morning in the Outer Banks for "Retirement Vacation 2020" Its been a good trip although the house, while very nice, is not being cared for well and has a lot of issues. But all in all a good time so far. Drinking a Pina Colada at 10:30 am, not bad ( Read more... ) -

Just on here reading old posts from Abby's Cult members. Those were good days as are these days. Man has my life changed from 10 or 11 years ago. Living on the farm with cows and tractors, grandsons, OHTF1, and at Co 12's nearing retirement. Getting old. Just thought I would put something in here to start the year. Last post was a year ago... Enjoying life on the farm, Just came home from my first board meeting for the airport, sounds like it will be interesting. Rand came over today to play some Call to Duty and we had lunch at Tom's Deli. Supposed to get 2-4 more inches of snow tonight. Really ( Read more... )
