It's over...
I survived IDC (and passed with flying colors). Eight twelve hour days with two days of open water diving in a freakin' wet suit in 42 degree water plus four days in the pool. But it's over. Now I just have to live through IE (the Instructor Exam) and I'll be an official Open Water Instructor ( Read more... ) -

Oh peoples... I think I need to go to bed and cry now. Anjali Pai, who I went to high school with died yesterday in a car crash. She was into Harry Potter and our fannish interests never really overlapped, but some of you might have known her as anjenue or cherrypai. Today, seriously?
I came home today to a rejection letter from A&M (dude, who the fuck sends out rejection letters on April Fools?). Life sucks, people. I really, really though I'd get in and this really just makes me want to kick things or eat chocolate and wallow, even though I had already decided not to go if I was accepted. Internets! Hello! I am taking the steroids and it's like the worst bouncing off the wall hyper caffeine high EVER. (I went in to make sure I hadn't put a hole in my ear drum, which I didn't, but I have inflamed eustachian tubes which is why my ear hurt. The doctor gave me steroids to help get rid of the inflammation.... except apparently I am going ( Read more... ) -

Okay, two questions flist:
It looks like we might be moving to Albany, NY. Anyone ever been there? I've been to NYC once when I was little, and I drove through the countryside of NY with musingsfromhere, but as far as I know, I've never been to Albany.
