i'm the mumford and sons pregnant!girl mark anon (which only makes sense...if you've seen the fills for that on too) who is also the first anon who replied to this giving you the beginning of the pregnant!girl eduardo fill. and gosh this is late...i overestimated how much of an attention span i would have during the oscars. anyway, enjoy. ♥

Edi was supposed to be a male. It's never said in her house, but she knows it's the truth. She has to work harder than everyone to gain something simple like affection from her father. Some girls are daddy's little girl, all of her girlfriends were daddy's little girls. Edi thinks she could have found herself being a prostitute with a crack addiction and her father would only care because it would be bad publicity for him.

Maybe if she hadn't thought Harvard would be the one thing that would win his affections for good, none of this would have happened. Maybe she wouldn't have ever even met Mark Zuckerberg, the asshole who for some reason, she cares (cared) about. If that didn't confirm that she

okay so according to the list of baby names that exists online, eduarda really is the feminine form of eduardo and since i am a huge supporter of being as close as you can get when it comes to genderbent names, i let eduarda be her real name, however, like a lot of people, she has a nickname. /makes long author's notes that...no one really needs to read.

The genetics that Edi is blessed with dictated that no matter what, her metabolism would be faster than a speeding bullet or at the very least, faster than just about every woman she knows. While she was growing up, she welcomed it, after all, what teenage girl doesn't like being able to fit into the cute bikinis or the skinny jeans or the skirts and dresses without having to diet constantly. It's not to say she was built like a teenage boy, no, she had a figure, but she still was the thinnest girl she knew. It just happened that way.

He gives her another look, as if he just figured something else out and almost instantly her food kind of looks a little less appetizing. The look disappears as soon as it appears, though and Mark just shrugs before walking off.

She finds that she can't finish her lunch and ends up tossing half of it away. Her stomach growls in the middle of Sy asking her a question and her hand automatically goes to her stomach and then her bottle of ginger ale. Mark has that look on his face again.

Edi starts to realize that getting away with him not knowing she's pregnant is way less easier than it looks.

it's interesting how pregnant!mark gives me this vibes of hurt mostly, but pregnant!wardo instead gives me angry vibes: she's more willing to fight.
And in my head (and in a lot of fic) during the deposition seems like wardo is just waiting for Mark to make amend, but in this fic I don't see it, and I think that this is a brilliant choice.

No, hey, I actually understand why you're saying. It's a weird thing, because I do actually go along with the idea that during the deposition that Wardo has a good portion of him who really wants Mark to just say I'm sorry and such but at same time, he's also doesn't want to just make it easy for Mark, because he sort of stomped on their friendship and treated him like shit and it's not deserving of an easy reunion so there's a subtle kind of anger there

oh wow, this just keeps getting better and better--I love all the little insights we get into Edi's psyche, and I'm already nervous four her, trying to figure out how long it will take Mark to figure it out.

okay, brief notes, there actually are equivalents of final clubs for females at harvard. they are a super new thing and i picked the oldest one which is nineteen years old. so, i'm assuming they aren't as amazing as the phoenix and such, but i wanted to keep the aspect of the final club thing. and to be honest, in the grand scheme of things it would have probably been a huge slap in mark's face if eduardo had been a girl and got punched for one of the female final clubs while mark didn't get punched for any of the male ones. so, yeah, that's what the mention of "the bee" is. it wasn't just my imagination. though i imagine how they do things is not like the phoenix punching stuff, however, i liked what eduardo did to get into the phoenix so i kept it. also, i'm assuming that the two depositions took place in the same timeframe thus making this part make sense. and i edit these posts more than god and i'm sorry.Mark keeps looking at her like he knows and Edi chooses to look everywhere but Mark's face in order to avoid the feeling of
