Mark/Eduardo "Up" fusion

Shamelessly stolen from Tumblr which means this is just copy and paste:
Mark turns thirty and realizes he hasn’t seen Eduardo in half a decade. Just as he is about to set out for Brazil, a young wilderness explorer shows up on his porch.
“Hello,” the kid said, reading from a pamphlet in his hands. “My name is Dustin and I am a Wilderness Explorer from Tribe 54. Can I offer you any assistance today?” He looked up with a hopeful, toothy grin.
“No,” Mark said, and he slammed the door shut. and then, later:
Eduardo came out of his house, staring at the house in disbelief. “Mark?” he asked.
“Hi,” Mark said.
“Ooh, is this Eduardo?” Dustin asked, darting out of the front door. “Hi! Mr. Zuckerberg has photos of you all over his house!”
“He does?” Eduardo asked, looking confused. “Wait, who is this? Mark, did you kidnap a child?”

this is lovely so far. i really enjoyed the detail of eduardo's postcard to mark -- for some reason, the fact that he signed it 'wardo' was especially sweet to me. i can't wait to see how chris and dustin fit into this fic. ♥

*brain-damaged pigeon noises*
Mark had never been able to imagine Eduardo there; for him, memories of Eduardo were intrinsically tied up in Harvard and Cambridge and Boston and New York. Eduardo was the spot of friendship and warmth that he'd had in the cold New England winters and he seemed to fit there.

“He’s a stowaway!” Mark said defensively.
