I kissed a guy that jus got over mono. . .what if I get it?

I know he said that he was over it, but still, who knows if others can still get it, ya know? I guess we'll find out in a few weeks or at least in a few days. . .I'm already feeling that stupid flu shot, it's kicking my ass, but this mono thing is scaring me even more. . .shiiiiyt

Mononucleosis is a virus. Some people get it and don't get sick at all. And it goes away all on it's own. Other people, it spurs their immune system and makes them really sick. And then they have it for a long time... It all depends on whether your immune system is good enough and will get rid of it fast instead of letting it hang around and multiply...
