Goals Update #6: October

It's been 6 months, so I should do a full update, but I figure some ppl might just wanna see the short one, so I'll post a regular progress one now and a full one later. Technically it hasn't been six months until Nov. 5th, anyway.

I've been pretty good. This month will be me trying to convince myself to get a handle on Teacher's College applications, but inevitably I'll be rushing in the last week. *sigh*

I miss you so!!! How are you? I keep wondering whether Hotmail ate my last email to you or if you've just been really super busy. *many hugs*

For your number 6, I have to say I sorta pass. I haven't been buying much of anything, or going out much. My biggest 'purchase' has actually just been...well, my insurance. A grand total of...$725...but if you don't count that, I've been spending very little. Oh, and getting snow tires for the car, and gas. Aside from that, I've succeeded in spending under $100 a month over the two months I've come back *hurray!*

...it seems as if you should take November/December out of the equation for xmas gifts. Or at least, not count those purchases towards the $250...it seems unfair to count it...!

I'd make you an icon if I knew how. All I know how to do is to cut pictures out. That said, I don't even have Photoshop on this computer. Um, maybe poke mi-chan?? ^__^;;

Oh, meep. Okay, roving is what yarn is made out of. The (wool) fiber from the sheep has to be processed either by hand or machine, and then that fiber is spun into yarn. (There are pics in this post after the knitting pics.)

I include all purchases of all kinds in the $250, so like the metropass + Mississauga transit tickets already push me up to like $130 of the $250. And then I keep spending money on other little things that just keep adding up. I really need to stop. I know November and December will be a bust too, especially since I'll be going to see The Sound of Music on the 22nd. (Actually, maybe not Dec., I usually buy presents in Nov.)

Heehee, no worries. I actually don't have PS on this computer either, and I don't trust my other one (not that I could make icons even if I had PS). Actually, I kinda wanted to poke Mi-chan about my LJ layout but she's busy so I don't wanna really bug her... *swtdrop*

well, if you include everything like that, then yea, it's a total bust. PLEASEEE tell me how Sound of Music goes!! I so wanted to go and watch it but...*sigh* tickets were pricey for one and second, no one wanted to go with me ;___; I hope it's awesome and you totally enjoy it!! I'll make up for it by watching it on video. =) ohhh Julie Andrews~~~

heehee, well, you can ask her if she can first, and if she doesn't, I guess she will always decline? It helps if you're not like me...meaning you have a picture or some idea or color scheme you want. She had to do it ALLL for me and it took her longer XD but i love her lots anyway, heehee~~~!

Yay! I have finished 2 of 50 goals on my list. I took a stab at another one but failed, and will have to try it again.

I have paid off my dad for my car and finished a TV series I had yet to. I'm also working on my goal to have all my xmas presents done BEFORE xmas. link_worshiper's is done because it was small and I am working steadily on a bunch more. I might make it! Still have to buy yarn for another one, though....
