If I make it... anyway. [Sigh. Why, oh why, did he eat that bento so early on?] It's like 3 days walk, isn't it? Maybe 2 to 2.5 if I run.

You will make it. Everyone makes it through Route 29. It's the most unchallenging of routes here.

I took it in just over two days without sleep and walking very fast.

[Well, of course he'll make it really. He's America. He's not going to do it that easily though, it's too cold and he's hungry, after all.]

Yeah, but China said that... my stamina's gone down. Or something.

[He's not really sleepy yet, but he's been taking like quick jogs and stuff along the way, so it probably will be 2 days. Or just over.]

That's true. We're not as we usually are here. I'm not entirely sure why.

[Because America's close with Japan, of course he played Red/Blue/Yellow. Not to mention it's a video game. He totally collected them all too, so that's why he's a little confused about the Wailmer he has. And the layout of the place.]

I don't understand how that worked, but it's not the oddest thing I've heard. There's a group of people here who are some sort of sentient ponies in their usual existence.

Yes, ponies. Apparently they even have a fashion industry. I'm not entirely of all the details, but they're definitely as sentient as humans.
