So, I finally took a long look at Flickr. I'm only about five years behind in most of this. However, since I want people to be able to find pictures I taken of or for them, it seems like the easiest solution ( Read more... )

I've always thought that Orkut should have had an "import profile from Friendster" button. And Facebook should have an "import profile from MySpace" button, etc.

I've just decided to give up on all that crap for a little bet and let another round of the social networking wars pass my by.

Which is why I still use LiveJournal.

I use LiveJournal (mostly to talk to my non SLO friends), and Myspace (I got it to ward off morons from my now ex girlfriend, now I use it mostly to communicate to my SLO friends) . . .
