Did media monitoring at 7.30am. distributed Red Cross Red Crescent quarterly magazine to various states. Mailed out 'Close My Eyes' CD to all the Media and Comms officers. The song was written by Greg Arnold to commemorate World Red Cross Day 2006. It talks about the hardship and sorrow that victims of war and disaster face ( Read more... ) -

Day 2
Got in at 7.30am and did Media monitoring with Lachlan - scanning the internet for related news and articles which pertain to Red Cross work and interests.
Read Style guide for Red Cross. Had lunch with Lachlan and Di at the Melbourne Uni Graduate Clubhouse. Edited 3 articles for blood donor newsletter.
