Thought I'd post something for novelty value. So I did. This is how much I really can't quite be bothered to count 50 more tubes of flies. They awesome and cuddly, and don't complain when you rip their balls out. I like the little lab pets and am having great fun pretending to be a proper scientist. It also gives me something to do, which is nice.

I think that this summer may be fuller than I'd initially thought.

but I just want to remind my self to write them at a later date. I had a lovely time with Helen and many randoms whom neither of us had met before in the pub. I love it when an evening turms out to be quite different from the one you were expecting.

Today I got up, had a shower and then cycled off to have lunch- which was nice. It's not been exactly that long since I last saw Tim but it was nice to have a good chat. Also rain plus eating outside is not the best combination. However cycling in rain is fun ( Read more... )

...are lots of fun! Especially when you find a huge hill, struggle up it and then zoom down it at a speed which scares me so much I can scream with delight. Whoever it was that put Cambridge in a flat place definitely missed a trick for the cyclists. I'm aiming to hit at least ten miles a day for all of summer, and am doing it so far.

So I'm back at home now- nothing much changes here. The house is still full of stuff, and my sister is currently still removing all of her stuff from my room. I got up at two in the afternoon today, a rare occurence brought on by a lack of sleep for about a week ( Read more... )
