Taking Gareth, Bernard, Helen and Fatima around Oxford yesterday was a lot of fun. We had a great day and I'm really glad they came. I'm only sad that there aren't many plans for more holiday meet ups!
I don't suppose a poke would convince you to come along to the boat race if you're not already coming would it?
Things are looking up. My dad is getting picked up to come home in about an hour, and I also have chocolate and have done constructive things today. These are good things :-)
They tick on, in some kind of fashion. Things here couldn't quite be described as dull, in any sense of the term. Still by the end of today we should know where things stand with my dad. So until then we'll just carry on as normally as possible.
Or at least residing here now anyway. Tonight me, my dear sibling and two of her associates venture boldly towards Birmingham. We shall return however, and shall hopefully shall have enjoyed much music. After that normal service shall resume, if I can find my house under all this stuff.
Sometimes this place just pisses me off, and I wonder why I bother. If I was anywhere else it would be a piece of piss, yet here even trying seems to make no difference
