Relaxing Sunday
Mark and I spent the best day today. Sunday's are becoming my one truly relaxing day, just to enjoy Mark. I try to clean and get all my errands done on Thursday, my other day off, and then, Sunday is just for us. We have found a great church and we both love singing in the choir. Update on my babies...
Tonight while I was cooking dinner, Minnie decided that while she has a perfectly good jungle gym in the family room, the kitchen chairs would be a perfect place to play. She somehow ended upside down from the top rung, holding on for dear life. She looked so cute and yet pathetic that just as I was heading over to rescue her, she dropped...right ( Read more... ) -
Relaxation
I just had the best, albeit most painful, massage of my life. One of the chiropractic offices in town is now offering massage - at $39/hour for the first massage. Of course I signed up! I talked with her quite a bit about my migraines and what I was doing for them and how I was failing in preventing them. She spent a lot of time and energy ( Read more... ) -
Sleep...
It's 2:36am and I just finished making the schedule for next week...and I still can't sleep. I love sleep - there is nothing better than getting to sleep in, stay in my pj's and have some non-scheduled restful time...but here it is, the middle of the freaking night and I'm awake, unable to let myself go to sleep. Minnie and Sergei
Minnie is settling in to our home and Sergei is still not sure what to make of her. We've caught lots of cute pictures, which have been trapped in the camera until tonight. So...welcome our little kitty! Sorry...I have no idea how to put pictures behind a cut.

Kitten Update
Minnie went to the vet for her second set of shots today, and was quite the vocal kitty. I was really embarrassed at how loud she was - and even before they gave her shots she was not a sweet, snuggly kitty. She is somewhat standoffish at home, but cuddles when she wants to. Her "Giraffe" Horns
Lauryn has dance on Thursdays - this is her second year, and she really loves it. Today Missy, Jen's friend/neighbor/daycare provider put Lauryn's hair up in buns for dance class. Jen sent us these photos...makes me wish I was there to see her dance around.

Day Two with Minnie
Our little kitten is still shy around people - she did sleep on Mark's chest last night and Sergei slept at my feet - so pretty good to have them sharing a bed after less than 4 hours! We also had great success with the litter box training - we just kept dropping her in there and finally she did her business there ( Read more... ) -
Our new baby
Mark and I finally broke down and added to our family tonight. We adopted a six-week old kitten that we named Minnie. Mark has wanted a little "Minion" for quite a while and now we have her. Sergei is really confused and quite excited about the new addition while Minnie is totally over him. She is currently sleeping on my chest as I write this ( Read more... ) -
