Hurry Up and Not Graduate...
I just got an email from one of my major professors saying that she doesn't think it will happen for me this semester. I'll make it, but by summer - short by about two weeks. So, why all the rush to essentially not make it? WTF. I'm taking two weeks of unpaid leave from work to do this damn thing to make the deadline and now I'm being told it ( Read more... ) -
Dissertation Progress
I'm the queen of procrastination...it's just so freaking hard to make myself write this stupid dissertation. Grrr...it seems the closer I get the farther it seems and the harder it is to write. I do draft after draft after draft and it just seems to never end. I can write 20 pages of notes on one piece and it ends up being less than one page ( Read more... ) -

Musical Update
Tonight was fantastic...the last two years, well, more than two years have been dark, lonely and very scary. I stopped loving music - I stopped being able to do what it is I do, and I suddenly had no way to truly express myself. The good news is, it is finally back! Minnie discovered the toilet tonight...we were in bed watching some tv when I was sure I heard a splash. I smashed three fingers in the safe at work today - my middle finger took the brunt of it, though. My nail is purple and the back of my finger also has a purple hue to it. The first doctor looked at the x-ray and told me I had a hairline fracture, then the next doctor said he didn't think I did. They said the treatment was the same, put a splint ( Read more... ) -

Trader Joe's Reduced Guilt Pita Chips Sea Salt - 3 ingredients, no MSG hidden in any of it, reduced fat and they are delicious! YIPPEE!!! Absolutely fabulous with my favorite hummus for a quick lunch! -
Recent Indulgences
In trying to decide how to spend the money I was left by Cathe, I have shed many tears and made many plans. At first, Mark and I decided we would put the money towards a trip to Europe.
