It's kind of the beginning of the end for us in Germany.  My husband is gone TDY.  He'll get home just in time to have a couple weeks (maybe a month IF we're lucky) with his family and then he'll deploy for 5-6 months.  And when he comes home he'll out process and we'll be outta here.  So even though we have 8 months left in Germany, it's the ( Read more... )

Kaitlyn and I certainly had a big day today . . .  SHE ROLLED OVER!!!

i brought her playgym back out today.  it'd been put away in her room for awhile but i wanted to see what she thought of it now.  and she's a much bigger fan now that she can reach for and grab the toys hanging down on top of her.  she especially likes the pull toy cause she can ( Read more... )

my daughter just slept through the night!!

seriously.  oh. my. god.  she went down around 9pm and slept til 4:30am!  she did it a couple nights ago too - 6:30pm til 4am, but she hadn't had a nap at all that day, so that's what I attributed it to.  she did sleep some yesterday though, and still slept through the night!  i'm not expecting it every ( Read more... )

Kaitlyn had her 2 month "well baby" visit this week. (granted, she was closer to 2 1/2 months, but oh well - that's what i get for calling 2 weeks in advance, i should have called earlier.)

she's 11 pounds, 1 ounce! Go girlie! she's in the 25th %ile for height and head circum. now (up from 10%ile last time) and in the 50th for weight!! (granted ( Read more... )
