i am so happy right now!

why can't i ever post in this thing? there is always enough to write about, but somehow i just don't. i used to not be able to go more than a couple days without writing something, no matter how meaningless, and now weeks can pass without me having typed a single word. what happened?

i just accepted my UBC housing application. as of september 1st i will be a resident of place vanier. i don't think i will fully get my head around it, until i am actually standing in my room with all my things in it, knowing that my family is on the other side of the atlantic. then i'll probably need a paper bag.

the graduation celebrations start tonight. it's going to be insane. norway has a tradition where all the grads wear red overalls and drink for 20 days straight. before finals no less. most people also pool their money with a bunch of friends and buy a bus which they spend the year renovating and then drive around in for those 20 days. it's been a ( Read more... )
