Been reading friends' list and commenting (a bit) and reading communities (immigration and Brit-American things) here on LJ but a full update seems to be a struggle. I'm married (you may have seen some of my pictures on Facebook) but it sure doesn't feel like it. I don't get to see Danny for another two months and it's a lot, a lot harder than I thought it would be.

11 days away from the wedding. As last time, making a progress report helps gets my ideas together so there'll be one for tomorrow - the 10 day mark!

I had a couple glasses of wine. I ad a few shots of absinthe. I am tryong on bridal gowns tomorrowm. I am going to be the hungover bride. Whoo-hoo.!!!!!

I hate wildfires. It's 81 degrees here, with hot Santa Ana winds, and this morning a brushfire started in the hills behind the high school. Thankfully the fire is 25% contained and is expected be fully contained by 10 pm tonight ( Read more... )

Other than my vote for Obama and no on Proposition 8, I have no idea who/what I'm voting for. I'm taking a look at my ballot tonight, then setting my alarm for 6 am to get up and vote tomorrow.

And then, hopefully having a pretty good day tomorrow with some really good news at the end!
