i am the kind of person that likes to always be there to take care of others, but for some strange reason i expect them to give a little back. i had finally had enough of not getting any kind of care, concern, or compassion back and made my life about me, not him and he can't deal with that apperently...it kinda sucks, he is my best friend

if he was your best friend he'd give you the same attention you give himmm. He is maybe just a friend, but i wouldn't consider him a "best" friend.
