I love the way the flashback of Leoben taking Seph, not only frames the present but shows so much about Kara's mental state as she leaves her baby with Lee. Lee's reaction to being left with Seph, so helpless and confused is kind of adorable, and I appreciate that he his explanation of the night on New Caprica with Kara is very human and not a huge confession.

I'm really interested to get the rest of the New Caprica story. Can't wait.

I think it's really hard for Lee to think about that night... so his explanation was an easy rationalization for what happened. Poor Lee and his manpain. :(

The story will come. In bits and pieces but it will.

Ummm..gut wrenching! So typical that Kara would assume her mixed feelings equal being a horrific mother. I'm glad she didn't just leave the kid without anyone. I loved how she dumped Seph on Lee and sais here, she's yours anyway. I am surpassed that she just went on a huge bender and went AWOL. The flashbacks are so traumatic and real for her.

And Lee...I love how he just accepts it and lets Cally help him. His explanation was interesting how he couldn't stand up to his dad and admit that he had at least loved Kara back then.

So, whats going to happen with Seph, with Lee, and Kara...and of course, Dee!

She wouldn't leave the kid alone, I don't think. I think she's too aware of what bad parenting does to a child, and she doesn't want to do that to her own daughter. Even if she's not thinking clearly.

I think it's too painful for Lee to acknowledge how much he'd loved Kara. But then again he got a big shake-up in what he thought was going on.

Wow! No ignoring that something's vastly wrong with her now.

And Daddy Lee's quickly discovered what it's like to suddenly be totally responsible for a baby. I doubt Kara had much of a better introduction to parenthood the first few days after giving birth. Especially since she didn't have a Cally there to help.

Here's hoping she didn't hurt Sharon, she's going to need all the help she can get.

Here's hoping you've got busy fingers plucky out the next chapter REAL soon. Waiting anxiously for it!

Yeah, this chapter was draining because this was definitely the shit hits the fan chapter. For everyone involved.

Ouch. I wasn't expecting this to be easy or pleasant, but gosh it hurts to see Kara walking out on her own child. What's worse is that I can totally believe it. Oh Kara. :(

It is incredibly painful, but I think it's one of the few good decisions she's making right now. I think she cares about Seph too much to...well... let her be near her right now.
