I like how you write Kara with Seph. Sweet, without being saccharine. And I'm enjoying the slow unfolding of her healing. Baby steps, one bit at a time, with the sure knowledge that she's not going to be done at the end of the month. No magic bullets, just a few good tools and maybe one or two really important realizations for her to move forward with and keep working on.

Progress! Progress in halting, Kara-sized steps, to be sure, but still...progress! :)

I have to say I really liked getting so much of Lee's POV here. It was time for him to unload some of that stuff and it was good to get into his head for a bit. His affection for Seph and even, stinting as it may be at the moment, for Kara adds a certain...warmth to the story?

I was so happy to finally bring in some of the happy. The story was so dismal but I was always always going for a happy ending and I finally got to put the first hint of it in here! I mean this story is really a sort of fix-it, but it's kinda taking a really long convoluted route to getting there!

I really like how fitted in with the progression of Kara's recovery is the juxtaposition of her pain and regret over New Caprica vs. Lee's. Kara wishing that she had gone back to Galactica and Lee wishing she had stayed instead of running to Sam. Beautiful and heartbreaking, especially as it all leads to the moment of quiet between the two of them at the end. Good stuff. :)

It took a lot of work to getting these two to start to come together again... in a slightly more wholesome way than beating the shit out of each other... :)Not that I don't love that.

Great chapter...Kara being all stubborn but finally letting go a little bit. Lee letting his guard down and admitting the truth...and little Seph creating a bond of mutual love. It's all slowly coming together,
