As I tried to wrap my brain around Kant (i was unable to) I listened to a group of people discuss politics. It was a group of Lake Highlands based democrats, forming some sort of club. They ran the gamut of issues as you could expect. What I found to be interesting is that noone ever voiced a contrary opinion. They took turns telling stories

In fact, my Mom started that group and was the first president of the Lake Highlands Democrats and unltimately resigned the post because, and I quote, she was "sick of all talk-no action." Seems like some things never change.

I seem to recall that she is/was an active member of the community.

I'm not sure if it's the same group though. They mentioned your moms group by name, in the context of "Someone is already called the Lake Highlands Democrats."

If I had to guess, I'd say these people were located nearer to Forest Meadow and Greenville. They had things to say about the LHJH area that were not too nice.
