yesterday was the orchestra concert with the marcus roberts trio and it was so much fun. i'm still in such a good mood from it. it's just so awesome to know that i am part of a group which can play with such talented musicians, and not even the type of talented people we usually play with, like soloists for concertos and things, but world famous ( Read more... )

It's probably good that your stomach still hurts from coffee- it's highly hot and basic, and your acidic stomach doesn't like that too much, leading to indigestion.

Now me, I can drink a gallon of coffee in a sitting. This is something I ought to be worried about.

Coffee is actually relatively acidic (pH of 5), which is why your stomach doesn't like it, especially when it's hungry. Basic things tend to settle the stomach, hence the word "antacid."

Your stomach is probably also hurting from HUNGER, my little non-eating fils. Coffee on an empty stomach is prob not good, esp since it then stifles your appetite so you don't eat which makes your stomach even madder. Um so I slept until noon, and now I have to go to Philosophy for the sole purpose of awkwardly asking Brian for the History notes. I'm so cool. I'm sure Yourgrau will be glad to see my loving mug though...ha.
