Today was Wesley's 24th birthday. We spent a quiet evening at home, had pizza from Sicilian Thing, and watched It's a Wonderful Life. Jude actually went down at 9 pm and didn't fuss at all, went right to sleep. A little later than I would have liked, but normally he fusses for at least an hour before falling asleep for the night. I have an amazing husband and son. I am a better person because of them. I felt like a horrible mom today and my husband was there to love me and let me know that I was, in fact, a good mom. He even called my mom and told her what was going on so she could call and reassure me ( Read more... ) -

I have to bake my cookies for my cookie exchange on Saturday. This is my first year hosting one. I have wanted to host one for a long time, but never had the space to host a party before. Well I don't have the space now, but my parents do. My mom is letting me use her house for the party. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm getting nervous ( Read more... ) -

Yay! Jude has slept 9 hours straight for 2 nights in a row. I don't think I've had a full night's sleep since before I was pregnant. He even took 2 2 hour naps yesterday. One in the morning and another in the afternoon. I hope he starts sleeping like this more often. He doesn't get nearly as much sleep as he should. Yesterday he got 14 hours of ( Read more... ) -

Last night we watched Mad Money with my parents. The economy does not look good. There is way too many fingers being pointed and not enough being done. Our government has too many laws safeguarding things like this from happening ( Read more... )
