good luck with the JET program application! its got its ups and downs, but the good far outweighs the bad!

What happened to going to Thailand? =)

Thailand is still on the table, but I'm leaning towards Japan now. There are a few reasons:

1. I can always go to Thailand later in life.
2. Japan is a more (financially) stable place for me to get my initial teaching experience.
3. I can see all my Japanese friends there.
4. A lot of my fellow gaijin friends from japan are going back, so i can see them too.
5. I can go watch Pride live.

#2 + #1 were my arguments to you over a year ago! I'm glad that you have found more reasons than just financial stability to go to Japan though.
