I stumbled upon my PBS station playing the Metropolitan Opera's 2006 performance of The Magic Flute my Mozart (abridged and in English) . Fucking fantastic, and gorgeous both musically and visually. Saw Fantastic Mr. Fox today. Go see it! I really enjoyed it! Didn't realize it was a Wes Anderson movie but I was just happy it wasn't a predictable cliche. It's much more mature than a kids cartoon and easily enjoyed by adults. This isn't Disney. The characters are much more subtle and complicated than that.
