Moving forward with the plan to pay off the house and fix it up. Just won't have a retirement fund to fall back on anymore. At least paying it off will put whatever I get from selling it into my pocket and not the bank's. Just have to check out insurance and make sure that the taxes area paid on it. My boss has devised a task for me to do to track the delta between the home factory shipments and the receipt of said shipments. He is trying to find where the disparities are, rather than shut down both places and do a physical count. It's boring but productive - or so I'm told. Still muddling through this long drawn out semester. I'll be so glad once it's over. The courses are easy; it's the other things that go along with the courses that are getting to me. But it'll be over at the end of this month... thank the gawds!

The college's Financial Aid office sent an e-mail saying they lowered my FAFSA (Federal grant) and I must either pay almost $500, or drop the course. They said it wasn't on my academic plan, but the adviser had changed it; what gives?
